The first step in solving your medical problems would be to give you enough time to talk to us. As the saying goes that Rome wasn’t built in a day, so it may take several consults to devise a management plan for all ongoing conditions.
You can discuss more than one issue during a consultation, but it is better to limit the duration to a maximum of 30 minutes since it is difficult to remember everything for longer consults. Once a reasonable management plan has been devised and all conditions have been optimised, you should still see your doctor at least once per year to make any adjustments necessary.
WHEN YOU NEED IT
It is important that you see your own registered doctor for management of ongoing medical conditions as this provides continuity of care. For intercurrent illnesses and accidents, you can see any of the duty doctors.
You can book your regular consults to coincide with your annual blood tests, and repeat prescriptions can be ordered from the clinic website in between visits. If you need additional medical care at any time, you should be able to book a walk-in consult within 24 hours or the next working day following a weekend.
